Well now. This is different. Did you know that in Hong Kong, there's a special task force to kill off half-snake half people monsters? Yup! But occasionally they miss one. And she's pretty hot. Which is a good thing, 'cause she needs a man to fertilize her giant, Alien-like eggs.
This is the first movie I've seen that is OBVIOUSLY an eastern independent cinema. Its even shot on different type of film (there are some seriously pixilated shots at the beginning) And at times, it has the look and feel of a Chinese Horror meets the Blair Witch Project. But it does have the "vibe" of it being the eastern idea of a western horror movie.
It has some interesting character development, and the main actress is very easy on the eyes (including the naughty bits). The subtitles (since you have your choice of audio, Manrinese or Cantonese. I always choose Cantonese, 'cause I like the way it sounds) are kinda funny. For one thing, the main woman's name is Shit Fong. That’s pretty unfortunate.
The only other extra on the disc was a making of featurette. Unfortunately, its in Mandrinese, without subtitles, so didn't get a lot out of that.
