White Slavery Collection
Naked Amazon - 1954

Poor color correction (WAY too red), but what do you expect on a 3 movie DVD? This is sort of a mondo, about Brazil's Carnival (Rio)

White Slave - 1985 aka Cannibal Holocaust 2: The Catherine Miles Story

also known as Forest Slave and Amazonia. I've seen this, as it's on the Sub Rosa disc "White Slave/Caligula Reincarnated as Hitler" that I bought back in April 2004.

Sacrifice of the White Goddess - not in IMDB

shot on video (what a shock for a movie not listed in IMDB). At first I thought there wasn't going to be any dialogue, just narration. Finally, after 10 minutes, the dialogue starts. Man, this is the worst acting I've seen in weeks. But, it manages to hold my attention by showing some boobage. Here is where the my love of bad movies pays off. I laughed my ass off, as they try to make a creek look like a roaring rapids. Pathetic and hysterical!

And then, at the climax, they pull a heart that's about 2x too big for a human being. I mean, it would take up more room than a lung. It's obviously a cow's heart.

Puppets Who Kill, Season Two - 2003

Canadian Comedy. I'm assuming this is a pay cable channel, as it's WAY too rough for even free cable, even at night. I saw the first season a couple of years ago, I think, and it was pretty funny. But in comparison to Drawn Together, not as funny. But they get better as they go along. The Dead Ted episode was hysterical.

Puppets Who Kill, Season Two, continued

Joe Flaherty! And I have to say, I love Bill, the ventriloquist dummy. He's the best. Although Buttons is funny too. And ya gotta love a Clockwork Orange reference! There are a couple of commentaries, but they weren't as good as the outtakes during the credits of each episode.

Morel Orel, Season One - 2005

These aren't nearly as funny as I'd hoped. My 14 year old son said these were greatness, but after watching a few, I made him come in and watch one to prove that they weren't. He agreed.

Only extras are a Behind the Scenes that was mildly interesting, and a few deleted scenes.

Big Trouble In Little China - 1986

I have a new version that includes a commentary and subtitles. The old version had no extras at all, so I'm happy to upgrade. This is one of my absolute favorite movies. It is pure greatness. And it's family friendly. Amazing, I know, but true. I just think that this is one of the funest, bestest movie ever made.

I love the commentary by John Carpenter and Kurt Russell. It's cool, them reminiscing. And catching up on their kids. Fun to hear two old friends reflect on movies, life, and everything. I mean, the commentary is as much two friends talking about making movies than discussing the movie on the screen, and that's okay.

Infernal Double Feature from SWV
Joys of Jezebel - 1970

Seventies Sexploitation. Here lies greatness. Natural booage and simulated sex, but at least everyone's naked. No sex thru the underwear. The music is god-awful. The director, A.P. Stootsberry (who is actually Bethel Buckalew) would go on to do many SWV classics, such as Pig Keepers Daughter and Sassy Sue. It's a good entry in the seventies sexploitation genre though. I actually enjoyed it a lot!

My Tale is Hot - 1964

This was supposedly done by Seymour Tokus¹, but that's actually Dan Sonney. David Friedman worked on it, according to the commentary on Teaserama. It reminded me a lot of Kiss Me Quick. Film's in pretty bad shape, and the plot is absolutely paperthin. Not as much fun as Joys of Jezebel, but I was glad to see it after DF mentioned it a couple of weeks ago.
